We are seeking a full time PRM (liaison between our school and the aircraft maintenance contractor and Transport Canada) / Administrator at the flight school in Delta B.C. You will start as an administrator / assistant PRM. Once you become a dependable you are expected to become an administrator / Person Responsible for Maintenance.

Essential job tasks
- Strict adherence to checklists and office manuals
- Organize booking schedules of flights, exams, etc
- Operational control over customer files
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system to handle customer payments and inquiries
- Answer the office phone and emails to handle any customer/student inquiries
- Act as point of contact between the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) and management
- Coordinate and document the maintenance
- Act as a liaison between the company and Transport Canada regarding maintenance and related subjects
- To ensure that the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and any Airworthiness Directives for the aircraft operated are current and implemented
- To act as a liaison between the Company and AMOs/Contractors to coordinate all work done on company aircraft
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Effective communication and business writing skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel
- Experience in an administrative position
- A strong sense of safety
- Excellent customer service
- A thorough understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
- A highly motivated self starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong Leadership and Analytical skills
- Ability to organize work and multitask
- Have an aptitude for mechanical and technical workings
- Prior experience as a Person Responsible for Maintenance is an asset
- Prior experience as a pilot or an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or Aircraft Maintenance Technician is an asset
Compensation
- Salary is negotiable and will be determined based on experience related to this position
- The extended health and dental benefits will be available for enrollment after the probation period of 3 months
