Online Ground school registration: Students are required to attend PPL Ground School. International students are strongly encouraged to attend SLA PPL Ground School even before arriving in Canada, as we have customized our ground school for our aircraft type to ensure a smooth transition to flight training. Our ground school is offered mainly online and partly in person. Our PPL Ground School is offered 2-3 times a year. Once you pay the tuition fee, you may attend the course repeatedly for up to one year. SLA gives priority to international students who attend our PPL Ground School when selecting international students.

After the passing “3 Evaluation” we inform you of the total estimated training cost so you can prepare the financial proof required for submission to Immigration, Refugees, and citizenship Canada (IRCC).

You are invited to an online interview session with the Chief Flight Instructor for acceptance as an international student and to ask any questions regarding your training.
